HUNTINGTON BEACH REMODELING

Huntington Beach Remodeling for Kitchens, Baths & Connected Spaces

Planning a kitchen or bath remodel in Huntington Beach? We design and build it from our Tustin showroom, 25–35 minutes away, with one licensed team for design, materials, measuring, and construction. Since 1994, we’ve remodeled kitchens, baths, floors, and cabinetry across Orange County.

Much of Huntington Beach was built in the tract-home boom of the 1950s to 1970s. Many of those homes still have closed L-shaped kitchens, soffits over the cabinets, and original sliding doors to the yard.

Our Huntington Beach Work

Huntington Beach Kitchen Remodels

Most Huntington Beach houses went up when the city was growing by thousands of residents a year. In a kitchen remodel here, we usually remove the soffits for taller cabinets, open the kitchen to the family room, and replace original plumbing and sliders.

Harbour, Sunset Beach, the Coast

Huntington Harbour was built from 1963 on five man-made islands, and Sunset Beach joined the city in 2011. Waterfront homes often bring HOA guidelines and finishes exposed to sea air.

Coastal Zone Checks

Parts of the city sit in the coastal zone. Most interior remodels count as alterations to an existing home, but additions or work near the beach and wetlands can need a Coastal Development Permit. We check your address before design approval.

OUR PROCESS

How We Work

1. Discovery Call

We discuss the rooms involved and the decisions that may affect structure, utilities, circulation, schedule, or access.

2. Measure, Design & Showroom

A home measure records existing conditions. The designer tests the layout, then the Tustin showroom visit resolves cabinetry, surfaces, flooring, tile, and hardware.

3. Plans, Permits & Pre-Construction

Before demolition, we line up the permit, any coastal or HOA review, and long-lead orders like cabinets.

4. Demolition & Construction

The team coordinates demolition, framing, plumbing, electrical, ventilation, drywall, tile, flooring, cabinetry, and related work.

5. Installation & Final Walkthrough

The project closes with aligned installations, operating checks, touch-ups, and a homeowner walkthrough tied to the approved scope.

Throughout the project, the approved scope connects design decisions, material selections, permits, construction, installation, and the final walkthrough.

Materials & Craftsmanship

Near the beach, pick finishes that handle salt air and sandy feet and still match the rooms you’re not remodeling. At the Tustin showroom, compare quartz, quartzite, porcelain, stone, engineered hardwood, and luxury vinyl plank with cabinet samples and hardware.

We work with MSI Surfaces, Arizona Tile, Bedrosians, HanStone, Silestone, PentalQuartz, Republic Floor, Cali Floors, and Johnson Hardwood, and confirm availability while you choose. Our workmanship warranty is one year; manufacturer warranties vary.

Island with seating

This Huntington Beach kitchen had an L-shaped counter beside a separate dining table, and soffits that kept the upper cabinets short. We replaced the L with an island that seats the family and adds storage, removed soffits for taller cabinetry, and added quartz counters, a porcelain backsplash, a freestanding hood, a pot filler, and a farmhouse sink, plus new lighting and patio sliders.

We work across Huntington Beach, from Downtown and the older streets near Main Street to Huntington Harbour, Sunset Beach, Seacliff, and the inland tracts around Huntington Central Park. Permits go through the city’s Building & Inspections division and its HB ACA online portal, and we confirm HOA and coastal requirements for your home before design approval.

Cost & Timeline

How much does it cost?

Many of our kitchens fall between $35,000 and $85,000+, and many bathrooms between $15,000 and $45,000+. Structural changes, custom cabinet volume, moving utilities, large-format surfaces, and multi-room work can push a proposal above those ranges.

How long does it take?

Planning usually takes 4–12 weeks for a kitchen and 4–7 weeks for a bathroom. Design, selections, Huntington Beach review, coastal zone checks, HOA approval if your home has one, fabrication, and product lead times can add time before demolition.

What about disruption?

Before work starts, we plan access, dust barriers, protection for the finishes you’re keeping, pets, daily cleanup, and a temporary kitchen or bathroom if you need one.

Financing?

Ask us about current financing plans during your discovery call.

FAQ

Do you have a showroom in Huntington Beach?

Not in Huntington Beach itself. Our nearest showroom is in Tustin, at 13031 Newport Ave, Suite 114, about 25–35 minutes away by the I-405.

How much should I budget for a remodel?

Many kitchens fall between $35,000 and $85,000+ and many bathrooms between $15,000 and $45,000+. Your layout, materials, structural work, utilities, permits, and site conditions set the final price.

How long does planning take?

Planning usually takes 4–12 weeks for a kitchen and 4–7 weeks for a bathroom. Design, selections, permits, HOA approvals, and product lead times can add time before demolition.

Are you licensed and insured?

We are a California general contractor, CSLB #1060855, and we provide current insurance documentation whenever you ask for it.

What warranty do you provide?

Our workmanship warranty is one year. Manufacturer warranties vary by the cabinets, surfaces, flooring, fixtures, and hardware you select.

Do I need a Coastal Development Permit?

Usually not for interior work in an existing home. Additions, larger height or floor-area changes, or work near the beach or wetlands can require one.

Can you remove the soffits in my kitchen?

Often, yes. Soffits can hide ducts or plumbing, so we check yours first. In our Huntington Beach kitchen, removing them made room for taller cabinets.

Do you remodel kitchens and bathrooms in Huntington Beach?

Yes. We handle kitchen and bath remodeling all over Huntington Beach, plus flooring, custom cabinetry, and whole-home projects.
