A Bathroom Designed for Everyday Life

A successful bathroom remodel starts with the way the room needs to work. A primary bathroom may need a larger shower, more useful storage, improved lighting, or a calmer layout. A hall bathroom may need durable finishes, better ventilation, and fixtures that are easier for the whole family to use.

We begin by looking at the current space, the problems you want to solve, and the details that affect daily comfort. That includes circulation, wet areas, vanity storage, mirror and lighting placement, flooring, cleaning, and how the bathroom connects to the adjoining bedroom or hallway.

The goal is not simply to replace old surfaces. It is to create a bathroom that feels planned as one complete room.

FULL-SERVICE BATHROOM REMODELING

Full-Service
Bathroom Remodeling

Bathroom remodeling may involve a focused update or a complete renovation. The right scope depends on the room, the age of the home, the condition of the existing plumbing and surfaces, and the changes you want to make.

Our team coordinates the design, material selections, construction scope, and installation details so the finished room feels cohesive.

03
CHOOSE THE RIGHT SCOPE

Choose the Right Level of Bathroom Remodel

A useful proposal starts by separating a focused update from a complete renovation. Both can use similar finishes, but they carry different plumbing, waterproofing, permit, trade, and schedule requirements.

Focused Bathroom Update
SAME FOOTPRINT

A focused update keeps the bathroom footprint and replaces the major visible components.

Keeping plumbing and appliance locations can reduce complexity, but the team still checks field dimensions, electrical and ventilation conditions, cabinet clearances, and the condition of the walls and floor.

This path fits a homeowner who likes the current circulation but needs better storage, durable surfaces, and a finish package that no longer looks builder-grade or worn. It is also the right place to compare cabinet refacing with full cabinet replacement. Refacing can make sense when the boxes, layout, and interior storage remain useful; replacement gives the designer more control over dimensions, drawers, pantry storage, appliance integration, and door alignment.

Complete Bathroom Renovation
NEW LAYOUT

A complete renovation may relocate fixtures, enlarge a shower, change the vanity, improve storage, or rework walls and doors.

These decisions can require architectural drawings, structural engineering, permits, and coordination across demolition, framing, electrical, plumbing, ventilation, drywall, cabinetry, countertops, tile, flooring, and paint.

CFB tests the layout before finish selection. Appliance doors need room to open. Seating needs usable knee space without narrowing an aisle. A sink, dishwasher, waste pull-out, and prep zone should support the way you cook. Tall cabinets and windows affect light and visual balance. The final plan should solve those relationships on paper and in the field before the cabinet order is released.

TWO ORANGE COUNTY SHOWROOMS

Visit a Showroom Before You Choose

Visit either CFB showroom to compare vanity styles, cabinet finishes, countertops, flooring, tile, hardware, plumbing fixtures, and finish samples in person. Seeing materials together helps answer practical questions about color, scale, texture, durability, and cleaning before construction begins.

Both showrooms follow the same remodeling process: discovery, home measurement, design and material selections, a detailed proposal, construction, and a final walkthrough. Choose the location that is most convenient for your project.
05
MATERIALS & FINISHES

Vanities, Storage, Tile, and Finishes

Vanities and storage have a major effect on how a bathroom functions. The right configuration can provide better counter space, organized drawers, useful linen storage, and a cleaner relationship between sinks, mirrors, outlets, and lighting.

Tile and flooring need to work visually and technically. Scale, grout lines, slip resistance, water exposure, and transitions all matter. Countertops, cabinet finishes, hardware, plumbing fixtures, and lighting should support the same design direction instead of looking like unrelated purchases.

We help homeowners compare these materials together so the bathroom feels balanced from the floor to the final hardware.

SHOWERS, TUBS & SPACE

Showers, Tubs, And Better Use Of Space

The shower or tub usually determines how the rest of the bathroom works. Some homeowners want to replace an underused tub with a larger walk-in shower. Others want to preserve a bathtub for children, resale, or relaxation while improving the surrounding tile and fixtures.

We consider the available footprint, entry clearance, glass placement, controls, storage, drainage, lighting, and the relationship between the wet area and the vanity. When a layout change is appropriate, we also account for plumbing, waterproofing, electrical work, and permit requirements before the final direction is approved.

The result should feel open and comfortable without sacrificing the practical details that make the bathroom easy to maintain.

Bruce and his team are simply the best. We wanted to thank you for giving us the dream kitchen we envisioned. Your team went above and beyond our expectations. What I really appreciated the most was your attention to communication (including me FaceTiming you at 7 pm!!). I also felt like your whole team was mindful of trying to keep our house as clean as possible. Most importantly, everyone was so polite. Kitchen renovations can be expensive, but I think Bruce and the quality of work they do was worth it, and at a fair price.

Cabinet Flooring & Bath Design was the first of two places I visited, and from the moment I walked in, I felt genuinely welcomed. Marcie greeted me with treats and water, while Sasan took the time to sit down with me and truly listen to what I wanted. When Sasan came by for the walkthrough, he never imposed his own ideas. Instead, he asked thoughtful questions about what I wanted, what was working, and what wasn’t. He respected my vision and made me feel comfortable asking questions, no matter how small. In both bathrooms, he found ways to add cabinetry for extra storage, and the final results were absolutely stunning. Mike, the project manager, was just as exceptional. He kept me updated daily with texts about the crew’s schedule and was consistently involved—either stopping by in the morning to brief the team or checking in during the afternoon. Whenever I needed him, he was there. He was always reachable by phone or in person, and his reassuring phrase quickly became something I counted on: “Ma’am, it’s no problem. We’ll take care of it.” And they always did. I am beyond thrilled with everything Cabinet Flooring & Bath Design did for me. Their craftsmanship, communication, and genuine compassion made all the difference. I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking for remodeling services.

Sasan initially helped us design a modernistic layout for our master bathroom; this process allowed us to replace our previously unused Roman tub with a beautiful walk-in shower. We decided to add ambient lighting in our shower and vanity area which beautifully enhanced the entire room. Mike, our general contractor, was always available if we had any concerns or problems. He miraculously organized daily work crews and let us know ahead of time what to expect. Surprisingly, the entire process took exactly 30 business days. The demolition crew, plumbers, carpenters, electricians, tilers, glass designers, and painters were all very professional whenever they worked in teams. (Having a crew supervisor on site proved to be very beneficial whenever we had any concerns about the project.) Overall, we're thrilled with the final result and highly recommend Cabinet, Flooring and Design. We found their prices to be very fair and their overall work ethic and integrity outstanding!

BATHROOM FAQ

Bathroom Remodeling FAQs

Which showroom should I visit?

Choose the showroom that is most convenient for your home. We have locations in Tustin and Rancho Santa Margarita, and both can help you begin a bathroom remodeling project.

Do you remodel primary and guest bathrooms?

Yes. We work on primary bathrooms, guest bathrooms, hall bathrooms, powder rooms, and other residential bathroom spaces throughout Orange County.

How long does a bathroom remodel take?

The schedule depends on the room size, selected materials, custom items, inspections, and whether plumbing or layout changes are involved. We establish the expected sequence and timeline after the design and scope are defined.

Do you help select tile, vanities, and countertops?

Yes. Our showrooms allow you to compare cabinet and vanity finishes, countertops, tile, flooring, hardware, and related materials in person so the room can be designed as one coordinated space.

Can I keep the existing bathroom layout?

Often, yes. Keeping major plumbing locations can simplify the project. If the current layout does not work well, we can also evaluate changes and explain how they affect the construction scope.

Can you convert a bathtub into a walk-in shower?

Yes, when the existing conditions and plumbing allow it. We review the available footprint, drainage, waterproofing, controls, glass, storage, and any permit requirements before recommending the final configuration.

How much does a bathroom remodel cost?

Cost depends on bathroom size, material selections, plumbing changes, tile coverage, cabinetry, fixtures, and the amount of construction required. A focused update is different from a complete renovation with a new layout. We provide a clearer estimate after reviewing the room and project scope.
